Reapplication Policy

Last updated: May 28, 2026

If a previous application or account was rejected or terminated for copyright violations, fraudulent activity, or platform abuse, you should not submit a new application. This page explains why — and what the consequences of trying anyway are. By submitting an application you confirm you have read this.

1. Why some applications are rejected

wavbee distributes music to platforms whose anti-abuse systems have long memories. We have to be selective at intake so that one bad release does not put hundreds of legitimate artists on those platforms' suspect lists. Applications get rejected for:

  • Copyright violations — uploading content you do not own, undisclosed sampling, unauthorized covers, or material that triggers a third-party rights claim
  • Fraudulent activity — chargebacks, stolen payment methods, identity misrepresentation, or coordinated artificial-streaming attempts
  • Platform abuse — multiple accounts to evade limits, fake artist profiles, false copyright claims against other artists, or repeated takedowns
  • Pattern matches with a previously terminated account — same identity, same payout details, or same content as an account already removed under any of the above

Rejections are decisions, not invitations to negotiate. When we reject we do so with the evidence in hand and the same evidence will block future attempts.

2. What prevents you from reapplying

If your previous application was rejected for any of the reasons above, do not submit another application. The following will not get past intake:

  • The same email address used on the original rejected application
  • A different email address tied to the same person or entity (identity, payout details, phone number, billing address, or content)
  • An application submitted by someone on your behalf to bypass the block
  • A new application from the same content catalogue, regardless of who submits it

Our intake review is not just an email-string check. We compare new applications against the rejection record on payment fingerprints, content fingerprints, and identity documents.

3. The verification charge is not refunded

Every application requires a small identity-verification charge (around $0.10 USD or ₹8 INR, depending on currency). This charge:

  • Is collected up front to confirm the payment method belongs to you
  • Is not refunded when an application is rejected, including reapplications that we block on first contact
  • Is separate from any subscription fee — subscriptions are cancelled on rejection but the verification charge stays
  • Cannot be reversed by raising a chargeback — chargeback attempts are treated as fraudulent activity and trigger a permanent identity block

If you submit a reapplication knowing your previous application was rejected, the verification charge is the cost of the attempt. We do not waive it, refund it, or credit it against any other product.

4. Edge cases we do reconsider

A narrow set of cases qualifies for a second look. In each case we expect you to contact us via email first — do not submit another application until we say to:

  • You were rejected for missing documentation that you can now provide (e.g., proof of sample clearance, master ownership transfer, mechanical license)
  • You were rejected because of a release you no longer own or distribute, and the rejection no longer reflects your current catalogue
  • Your application was rejected due to a clear factual error in our review and you can evidence the error
  • You are the rights holder for content that was previously rejected as unauthorized and you can now demonstrate the chain of title

Email [email protected] with your original application reference and the documentation. If we reopen the case, we will tell you whether to reapply or whether we can advance the existing record. Submitting blindly will burn another verification charge.

5. What to do instead

If your account is blocked and the situation above does not apply to you:

  • Use another distributor — there are many, and most have different intake criteria
  • If you genuinely believe the rejection was wrong, write to us with evidence rather than resubmitting silently
  • Do not buy a new email address and try again. We will detect the pattern and the second block is harder to lift than the first
  • Do not initiate a chargeback to recover the verification charge — see section 3

Think you qualify for an exception?

Write to [email protected] with your original application reference and any new documentation before resubmitting. Submitting blindly will burn another verification charge that will not be refunded.
