Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy outlines the conditions under which payments to wavbee may or may not be refundable, including subscription cancellations, application fees, and service denials.
1. Definitions and Interpretation
In this policy, the following terms have the meanings set out below:
- "wavbee" — wavbee Technologies, registered at XI-430, Mutholy PO, Kottayam, Kerala 686573, India
- "Track" — any musical composition, lyrics, recording, artwork, or associated metadata uploaded to wavbee
- "Owner" — the copyright holder of the Tracks uploaded to the platform
- "You" — the account holder (artist, label, or distributor) using the wavbee platform
- "Intellectual Property Rights" — all copyrights, moral rights, neighbouring rights, and trademark protections worldwide
2. General Refund Policy
Payments made to wavbee are generally non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to, payments related to:
- Subscription fees (Artist, Artist Pro, Label, or Label Pro plans)
- Identity verification token charges processed during application
- Service fees deducted from royalty payouts
- Any payments made prior to account termination, whether initiated by you or by wavbee
Exceptions to this general policy are outlined in the sections below.
3. Application and Verification Fees
During the application process, a small identity verification charge (e.g., $0.10 USD, €0.10 EUR, or ₹8.00 INR) is processed via Stripe or Razorpay.
- This charge confirms your identity and payment method
- The verification charge is non-refundable regardless of application outcome
- If your application is denied, the verification charge will not be returned
4. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard or by contacting support:
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- No prorated refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle
- You retain access to your dashboard and features until the end of the paid period
- Content already distributed to Partners/DSPs will remain live until explicitly requested for removal
- Users with legacy or grandfathered access are not subject to subscription billing terms
To continue receiving outstanding royalties after cancellation, you must provide at least 30 days' written notice as outlined in our Terms of Service.
5. Denial Due to Copyright or IP Infringement
If your service is denied or your account is terminated due to intellectual property violations:
- No refund will be issued for any payments made
- This includes cases of unauthorized publishing, undisclosed samples, or false ownership claims
- Royalties may be withheld or placed in escrow pending resolution of any disputes
- Content will be removed from all Partners/DSPs
6. Denial Due to Quality Standards
If your content is denied solely due to quality standards or technical requirements:
- A refund may be issued within 14 days of the denial
- This applies to denials related to audio quality, metadata formatting, or artwork specifications
- You must request the refund within 14 days of receiving the denial notification
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear
7. Other Circumstances
For situations not covered by the sections above:
- Refund eligibility is determined at wavbee's sole discretion
- Each case is reviewed individually based on the specific circumstances
- wavbee may offer a partial or full refund, account credit, or alternative resolution
- Decisions on discretionary refunds are final
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or discuss your account status:

- You may also submit a support ticket through your dashboard
- Include any relevant documentation (denial notices, payment receipts, correspondence)
- We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days
