How pitch requests work

01

Upload your release

Deliver your release to wavbee at least 14 days before release day, so it clears QC and reaches every store in time.

02

Submit the pitch request form

Open the pitch request form in your account hub and fill it in at least 7 days before release — the form enforces this minimum.

03

Get your draft pitch back

Within about 2 working days, wavbee's team returns a Spotify editorial pitch and press-release content written for your track.

04

Submit via Spotify for Artists

You submit the pitch under your own artist profile — locking in your followers' Release Radar and putting your track in front of editors.

What wavbee's pitching support includes

A team that writes your pitch

Submit the form and wavbee's team drafts your Spotify editorial pitch and press-release content — shaped the way editors expect.

Distributor-side pitching

For select releases, wavbee also submits a distributor-side editorial pitch directly to Spotify's editorial team.

A direct line to Spotify India

wavbee has a direct pitching relationship with Spotify India — especially valuable for Indian-language releases.

Multi-platform reach

Releases prepared 30+ days ahead with a marketing plan can be pitched across Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, JioSaavn, Meta, YouTube Music and TikTok.

Included in every plan

Pitching support comes with every wavbee plan at no extra charge — alongside 90–100% royalties and unlimited releases.

Honest expectations

Nobody can guarantee a placement — editors decide. Good pitching maximises your odds; anyone promising more is misleading you.

What to prepare before you open the form

  • Full song lyrics, in the language the song is sung in
  • The story, background and key message of the song
  • Musical influences and notable production details
  • Your target audience — as specific as you can make it
  • Your promotion plan: socials, Reels, ads, collaborations

The quality of what you give is the quality of the pitch you get back.

Pitching, answered

Does wavbee pitch my music to playlists?

Yes — pitching support is included in your subscription at no extra charge. wavbee's team drafts a Spotify editorial pitch and press-release content for your release; you then submit the pitch yourself through Spotify for Artists (and Amazon Music for Artists). For select releases, wavbee also submits a distributor-side editorial pitch directly to Spotify's editorial team.

When do I need to submit my pitch request?

Upload your release to wavbee at least 14 days before your release date, and submit the pitch request form at least 7 days before release — the form enforces this minimum. wavbee returns your draft pitch within approximately 2 working days. For multi-platform pitching, upload at least 30 days in advance with a solid marketing plan.

How do I submit a pitch request?

Through the pitch request form inside your account hub at wavbee.com. If you run into issues with the form, contact [email protected].

What information does wavbee need to write my pitch?

Full song lyrics in the relevant language, the story and key message of the song, musical influences and notable production details, your target audience, and your promotion plan.

Can wavbee guarantee a playlist placement?

No — and no one can. Editorial placement is decided entirely by the platforms' curators. Pitching maximises your odds; it never guarantees a result.

Can I pitch a release that's already live?

No. Pitching is available for upcoming releases only — once a track is released, the editorial pitch window has closed.
